No — they are our own fictional resort universe. Owning the mountains outright is exactly what lets us render trail-map, lift, and signage graphics correctly with zero licensing exposure. The conventions are real; the resorts are ours.
Who is FIRSTCHAIR for?
The 20-to-60-day-a-year pass holder, East or West, whose season is planned. You know what PP means on a surface report and you want to wear the sport without a slogan tee — core skiers, not people deciding whether to try it.
How does FIRSTCHAIR make money?

How long does merch take to arrive?
Everything is made to order: 3–7 business days of handling, then it ships worldwide with tracking. Most US orders arrive within 5–10 business days total.
Is the gear advice independent?
Yes. Picks reflect days on snow plus shop and community consensus, not paid placement. When something only survives a week, it does not make the ranking — and we say why.
